Privacy Policy
Last updated October 7, 2026
The short version: Podfitter keeps what you and your show put into it so the show can use it. It doesn't sell your information, show ads, or track you with analytics. Your show's content is seen by your show's people, and by us only when we need to help you or keep the service safe.
Who we are
Podfitter is a show-preparation app made by Clemmer Creek Softworks and operated by Clemmer Creek Ventures ("we", "us"). This policy covers podfitter.com, the Podfitter app at app.podfitter.com, and the Podfitter browser extension and phone shortcuts.

What we collect
- Your account: your email address, the name you choose, and, if you add them, a short bio and a profile photo.
- Your shows' content: what you and the people in your shows add, such as links, notes, private notes, pictures, videos, sounds and other files, episodes and run sheets, segments, guests, sponsors and support conversations. When you save a link, we also save a copy of the article or post it points to, with its pictures, so your show can use it even if the page changes.
- Devices you connect: the name you give a browser extension or other device and when it was last used. The key it uses is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Technical information: your sign-in sessions, and the records any web service keeps when you use it, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and error reports. We use these to keep you signed in, to limit abuse and to fix problems.
- Email records: when we send you a sign-in link or an invitation, we keep a record of whether it was delivered.
- Counts: how much storage your account uses and how many items your shows hold, so plan limits work.
We don't ask for your address, phone number or payment details. Podfitter has no paid plans yet; we'll update this policy before it does.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- We don't show ads and don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- We don't use your shows' content to train artificial intelligence models.
How we use it
- To run Podfitter: signing you in, showing your shows to their people, saving copies of links, and playing what you put on the Stage.
- To email you sign-in links, invitations and messages about your account. We don't send marketing email.
- To answer you when you ask for help.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
Who can see your information
- The people in your show see what's added to it, the names and profile photos of the people in it, and who added what. A private capture is hidden from everyone but the person who saved it until they reveal it. If that person leaves the show or is removed, their private captures are revealed to the people still in it. Private notes are seen only by the person who wrote them.
- Account Owners also see the email addresses of the people in their account's shows.
- The Stage: anything put on a show's Stage can be seen by whoever is watching it, including the audience if the Stage is shared into a stream. A show's Stage link shows only what is on the Stage at that moment.
- Our staff look at a show's content only to help when you ask, to investigate a security problem or abuse, or when the law requires it. Each time, we record who looked, when and why.
- Service providers: Podfitter runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the app, stores your files and data, sends our email and keeps our service logs, on our behalf and under its own privacy commitments. The podfitter.com website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit it; the app does not.
- When the law requires it: we share information if we must to comply with valid legal process, or to protect someone's safety. Where we're allowed, we tell the account first.
- If Podfitter changes hands, your information would move with it, under this policy, and we'd tell you first.
Other sites
When you save a link, Podfitter fetches the page from its site, or for some sites from a public service that reads posts (for example, X posts are read through fxtwitter). Those sites see a request from Podfitter, not from you.
When you put a site's own embed or player on the Stage (for example YouTube, X, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo, Rumble or Twitch), it loads directly from that site in the browser showing the Stage. That site may then collect information, including cookies, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
Podfitter uses only the cookies it needs to work:
pf_sessionkeeps you signed in, for up to 30 days.pf_themeremembers light or dark mode.pf_nextremembers where to take you after you sign in.pf_capture_showremembers which show you last saved to.pf_welcome_…remembers that you've seen a show's welcome screen.
How long we keep it
- We keep your account and your shows' content while your account is open.
- When you delete something in Podfitter, it's removed from your show right away.
- If you ask us to delete your account or a show, we do it within 30 days. Our database's recovery history and backups clear within a further 30 days.
- Service logs are kept for a short time, normally days, then deleted by Cloudflare.
- We keep a record of actions taken by our staff (who, what, when and why, never your content) for security.
Your choices and rights
- You can change your name, bio and photo in your profile at any time, and delete what you added to a show.
- You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask a question about it. Use Help & support in the app, or write to [email protected]. We'll answer within 30 days.
- An Account Owner can ask for an export of a show's content.
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights over your information. We'll honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.
Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections. Sign-in links, session keys and device keys are stored only in hashed form. Your files are kept in private storage that isn't public on the web, and are shown only to people with access to the show, or on its Stage. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Age
Podfitter is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, tell us and we'll delete it.
Where your information is kept
We're based in the United States. Cloudflare stores and processes data in the United States and in other countries where it operates. By using Podfitter you understand your information may be handled outside your own country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, we'll also tell Account Owners in the app before it takes effect.
